I have been able to boot RIPLinux version 6.2 PXE. It just works like version 1.9 (which I can't find anywhere online) is supposed to. The UDA interface just accepts everything "as is". No need to edit anything. In the template choice, select "rip19" as the OS type.

The zip file is:
(available here:

Useful commands are:
loadkeys <language>:change the keyboard layout to match your actual hardware
ntfs-3g: mount ntfs partitions for reading and writing

The configure OS script failed for me with rip 9.1 at the above URL as the kernel has been renamed inside the zip.
I had to change /var/public/cgi-bin/
Under the import rip19 section change $kernel="kernel" to "kernel32"
