Fedora core 10 deployment?

Postby kalex » Thu Feb 05, 2009 3:21 am

Is it possible to deploy either unattended or attended install of Fedora Core 10 using UDA?

any tips on which files to modify greatly appreciated.

Thanks

dont need to do anything besides upload the ISO file
and than click on tempaltes -> than like FC6
put down in the Description box like FC10 / FC 13 or so

but .. if use the defualt info there it will do an auto install
no GUI just an text based installer

after you add it to the list of bootable OS / templates out there
click back on templates -> than edit the configuration for that one and than

change it from the old info
to something like
install
url --url=http://10.0.0.104/fedora/fc6/
network --device eth0 --bootproto dhcp

than save it

than the user can install the OS there way

if you want to have an kickstart file that is done before
copy it over and do some simple changes to it than copy n paste into UDA -> template for that fedora release than try it out
