How do I deploy 64-bit Linux?

Postby V-Me » Sun Jul 29, 2007 4:49 am

I'm trying to deploy openSUSE 10.2 64-bit. However, when I try to configure it I get an error message:
Importing file /var/public/www/suse/suse102/boot/i386/loader/linux to /var/public/tftproot/linux.suse102

File /var/public/www/suse/suse102/boot/i386/loader/linux not found ERROR

The 64-bit version is not in .../i386/loader/linux, it's in .../x86_64/loader/linux.
Rather than creating a new ISO with a symlink, where do I go to edit the loader path?

Thanks in advance!

try the following file:

/var/public/cgi-bin/uda.pl

In this script you can change the paths. Let me know if it worked!

Meraviglioso!

I changed /i386/x86_64 on lines 1733 and 1734, and away it went. Now I just need to figure out what drivers to load, but that's my problem.
Many thanks!
